This app is FREE on android market and gives you something I thought would come with the phone straight out of the box that is sending AND receiving files WITHOUT ROOT 😉
Details
Like I said this app gives you something that is lacking on Android and that’s sending and receiving files via Bluetooth and without root.
But should it not work unlike some developers this dev does listen so if you have huge issue like it not opening email him using the email given in the app he may not reply but just give him details.
For Example
Phone Model: HTC Magic
Rooted: Yes
Rom: Cyanogen 4.0.4
Provider: Vodafone NZ
Error Details: When opening it doesn’t open it just comes up black and then closes
It works like this
Sending Files
– Connect to the device you want to send the file too using this application
– Find the file on wish to send on your phone
– Long press the file select copy or move
– Go to the second tab aka connected phone
– open the folder you wish to copy or move the file too
– press menu
– click paste
DONE
Receiving Files
Its worked twice for me…
Once Vodafone 715
Once Motorola V1075
receiving is like copying
– Connect to the device the file you want is on using this application
– Find the file on the phone your connected too
– Long press the file select copy or move
– Go to the first tab aka your phone
– open the folder you wish to copy or move the file too
– press menu
– click paste
DONE
Features
– Send And Receive Files Via Bluetooth
– File Manager
The Pros
The Main Pro – Send And Receive Files Via Bluetooth Without Root
– Great UI
– Easy To Use
– FREE
– Cool File Management
The Cons
– ADS (I hate them so con)
– More View Options Like Details and Thumbnails to name a few
In Summary
This eliminates the need of buying Bluex as it does all that and then some.
It has a Great UI and allows sending and receiving of files via Bluetooth a feature Google or HTC should have implemented already on Androids.
The File Management part makes this just oh so much sweeter but until it has better views I’m sticking with Astro.
Final Rating (Out Of 5 *s 1 Being Android Fail 5 Being Android’s Greatest)
